Welcome to Feynman Mind.
By accessing or using the Feynman Mind mobile application and related services (“Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using Feynman Mind, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 13 years old

  • You have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms

  • You will comply with all applicable laws and regulations

2. User Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for all content you create, record, upload, or share using Feynman Mind.

You agree to use the Service lawfully, ethically, and responsibly.

3. Compliance with Institutional Policies

Users must ensure that any recording or uploading of content complies with the rules of their:

  • School or university

  • Workplace or organization

  • Instructor or governing authority

This includes (but is not limited to):

  • Recording lectures or classes

  • Sharing course materials

  • Distributing instructional content

4. Copyright & Intellectual Property Compliance

You may not upload, record, or share copyrighted materials without proper authorization.

This includes:

  • Textbooks or written materials

  • Lecture slides

  • Images or diagrams

  • Audio or video recordings

  • Digital course materials

  • Any other protected content

You are fully responsible for obtaining all required permissions before uploading content.

5. Privacy & Confidentiality

You agree not to record or share content that violates privacy or confidentiality laws, including:

  • Private conversations

  • Confidential academic or workplace discussions

  • Sensitive personal information

  • Legally protected communications

Feynman Mind does not condone unauthorized recording or distribution and is not liable for such actions.

6. User Content & Ownership

  • You retain ownership of the content you create or upload.

  • By using the Service, you grant Feynman Mind a limited, non-exclusive license to process your content solely to provide app functionality.

We do not sell or commercially exploit your content.

7. License to Use the Service

7.1 Grant of License

Subject to compliance with these Terms, Feynman Mind grants you a:

  • Limited

  • Personal

  • Non-exclusive

  • Non-commercial

  • Non-transferable

  • Revocable

license to access and use the Service for personal educational purposes only.

7.2 Restrictions

You agree not to:

  • Copy, screen-record, download, or redistribute platform content

  • Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, scripts)

  • Circumvent access controls or security features

  • Use the Service for commercial purposes

  • Abuse system limits or features

Feynman Mind may impose reasonable usage limits to prevent misuse.

7.3 Reservation of Rights

All rights not expressly granted are reserved by Feynman Mind.
Nothing in these Terms transfers intellectual property ownership to users.

8. Subscriptions & Payments

Some features require a paid subscription.

  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled

  • Pricing and billing terms are displayed at purchase

  • You are responsible for managing your subscription through your account or app store settings

9. Refund Policy

9.1 Eligibility for Refunds

Refunds may be considered if:

  • Requested within 30 days of purchase or renewal

  • Excessive usage or Terms violations have not occurred

  • A technical issue prevents normal app use and cannot be resolved

  • Duplicate or accidental charges occurred

9.2 Non-Refundable Cases

Refunds will not be issued for:

  • Requests after 30 days

  • Inactive or unused accounts

  • Promotional or discounted subscriptions

  • Monthly fees beyond the initial eligibility period

  • Accounts terminated for Terms violations

9.3 Refund Requests

To request a refund:

Responses are typically provided within 5–7 business days.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Service if:

  • These Terms are violated

  • The Service is misused

  • Required by law

Termination may occur without prior notice in severe cases.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

Feynman Mind is provided “as is” and “as available.”

We do not guarantee:

  • Uninterrupted or error-free operation

  • Accuracy of AI-generated content

  • Specific learning outcomes

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Feynman Mind shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential damages

  • Loss of data or content

  • User misuse or unauthorized recordings

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and interpreted under the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

  • Changes will be posted within the app

  • Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms
